Harvest Monte Cristo

  1. For each serving: Top 1 bread slice with 1 cheese slice, 2 apple slices, 1/4 cup (50 mL) spinach and 1 ham slice.
  2. Cover with second cheese slice and second bread slice.
  3. Melt 1 tsp.
  4. butter in small skillet on medium-high heat.
  5. Dip sandwich in egg, turning to evenly moisten both sides of sandwich.
  6. Add to skillet; cook 3 min.
  7. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
