Harvest Monte Cristo
- 48 each multi-grain bread slices
- 48 each Kraft Extra Swiss Cheese Slices
- 48 slices Granny Smith apples, thinly sliced
- 6 cups baby spinach leaves
- 24 slices cooked ham, cut into 3/4-oz./20-g slices
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3 cups eggs, beaten
- For each serving: Top 1 bread slice with 1 cheese slice, 2 apple slices, 1/4 cup (50 mL) spinach and 1 ham slice.
- Cover with second cheese slice and second bread slice.
- Melt 1 tsp.
- butter in small skillet on medium-high heat.
- Dip sandwich in egg, turning to evenly moisten both sides of sandwich.
- Add to skillet; cook 3 min.
- on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
