Sausage and Turkey Tri-Coloured Pasta

  1. Heat oil in pan and add shallots - sweat for 2 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic sweat for additional 2 minutes on medium-high heat
  3. Brown the ground turkey and add Italian seasoning to meat for flavouring (approximately 7 minutes)
  4. Cook pasta in a pot of salted water with olive oil per package directions
  5. Add sausages to ground turkey and heat for 2 to 3 minutes
  6. While meat mixture is heating through, chifinade spinach and basil before adding to sauce
  7. Add passata to meat to build sauce and simmer for 10 - 12 minutes.
  8. Drain cooked pasta and run under cold water to stop cooking process
  9. Add pasta to sauce, toss and add salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese and chilies to taste
  10. Serve and enjoy
