Sauteed Shrimp With Fresh Vegetables & Herbs Recipe

  1. Heat 1/4 c. butter in wok or possibly large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add in 1/2 shrimp and saute/fry till just barely pink.
  3. Do not allow butter to brown.
  4. Immediately add in 1/2 each onion, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and green pepper.
  5. Stir-fry 3 min, transfer to bowl.
  6. Repeat with remaining shrimp and vegetables.
  7. Return all to wok.
  8. Add in tomatoes, sherry and basil and bring to a boil.
  9. Immediately add in cornstarch dissolved in water.
  10. Simmer 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
  11. Serve over rice.
  12. Season with salt and pepper, if you like.
