Favorite Chocolate Mousse

  1. Sprinkle gelatine over milk in medium saucepan; let stand 1 min.
  2. Cook on low heat 3 min.
  3. or until gelatine is completely dissolved, stirring constantly.
  4. Add chopped chocolate; continue cooking until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly.
  5. Blend in vanilla.
  6. Place saucepan in large bowl of ice water.
  7. Stir chocolate mixture 3 min.
  8. or until slightly thickened.
  9. Pour into large bowl.
  10. Gently stir in whipped topping.
  11. Spoon evenly into 12 dessert glasses.
  12. Refrigerate 4 hours or until chilled.
  13. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
