Salisbury Steak with Creamy Sauce

  1. Mix meat, stuffing mix, water and 1/3 cup onions until well blended.
  2. Shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  3. Heat 1 tsp.
  4. oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat.
  5. Add patties; cook 2 to 3 min.
  6. on each side or until browned on both sides.
  7. Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  8. Add remaining oil, onions and mushrooms to skillet; cook 3 to 5 min.
  9. or until onions are soft and translucent and mushrooms are golden brown, stirring frequently.
  10. Add broth to skillet.
  11. Bring to simmer.
  12. Add meat patties; cover.
  13. Simmer on medium-low heat 13 to 15 min.
  14. or until done (160 degrees F), turning occasionally.
  15. Transfer burgers to serving plate, reserving drippings in pan; cover burgers to keep warm.
  16. Add cream cheese product to skillet; cook and stir on low heat 2 min.
  17. or until cream cheese is melted and sauce is well blended.
  18. Spoon over burgers.
