French Fried Onion Rings
- 1 large onion
- 3/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 6 Idaho potatoes, wrapped in foil
- butter or margarine to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 medium size onions, chopped
- 1/2 lb. fried bacon, crumbled
- 6 Tbsp. sour cream
- Grease potatoes on outside before wrapping in foil and bake in preheated oven at 350u0b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
- You will need 3 containers, one each for the crumbled bacon, the sour cream and the chopped onions.
- Keep potatoes in foil and cut lengthwise inserting desired amount of butter, salt, pepper, onions, bacon and that heavenly sour cream.
- This makes one wonder.

- Anyway, it is a lot of fun to prepare this dish. Serves 6.
