Apple Cranberry Streusel Custard Pie
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 c. cranberries (fresh)
- 2 medium apples, pared and sliced (1 1/2 c.)
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. flour
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0.
- In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon.
- Add eggs, water and fruit; mix well. Pour into pie shell.
- In medium bowl, combine sugar and flour. Cut in butter until crumbly; add nuts.
- Sprinkle over pie.
- Place on lowest shelf of oven.
- Bake 10 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 375u0b0.
- Continue baking 30 to 40 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Cool.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
