Cuban Picadillo

  1. Heat a saute pan sprayed with cooking spray over high heat.
  2. Cook the beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic until beef is fully cooked and broken into bite-size pieces (around 5-6 minutes).
  3. Add the white wine and deglaze the pan.
  4. Then add the tomato sauce, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, turmeric, salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
  5. Simmer covered for 30 minutes.
  6. Then add the chopped olives, stir well, and serve over a bed of rice.
