Pineapple Tarts

  1. Cream the butter and cream cheese together; then add the salt and flour; mix with a fork.
  2. Make into 8 balls and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Roll out and cut into circle with a saucer.
  4. Fill with 1 tablespoons pineapple preserves; fold over in half.
  5. Brush with a beaten egg white.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with powered sugar, if desired.
