Chicken Cordon Bleu

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut chicken breasts down the middle from the side, do not cut all the way through, just to butterfly.
  3. Pound chicken out until a little bit thinner and more workable.
  4. Ina mixing bowl, whisk together egg and water.
  5. Stuff each chicken breast with 2 pieces of ham each and 2 pieces of cheese each.
  6. Then roll the chicken so that all the meat and cheese stays inside.
  7. Wrap 2 pieces of bacon around each breast.
  8. Then, roll each breast around in the egg wash and then roll in the breadcrumbs to coat all the way around.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Drizzle olive oil in a baking sheet and then place the chicken onto the baking dish.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until cooked thoroughly.
