Asparagus and Bacon Kebabs
- 1/4 cup Bull's-Eye Bold Original Barbecue Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp. grated gingerroot
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 bacon slices, cut into thirds
- 12 thin fresh asparagus spears (1/2 lb./225 g), blanched, cut into thirds
- Heat greased barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Mix first 5 ingredients until blended.
- Wrap 1 bacon piece around 3 asparagus pieces; thread onto skewer.
- Repeat 2 times, threading both other pieces on same skewer.
- Repeat with remaining bacon and asparagus pieces, threading onto 3 additional skewers.
- Grill 3 to 4 min.
- on each side or until bacon starts to turn crisp.
- Brush with barbecue sauce mixture.
- Grill 2 min.
- or until bacon is crisp and sauce is hot and bubbly.
