Scorched grits cake
- 2 cup grits
- 4 1/4 cup water
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Boil your water with butter
- When really boiling add grits stir well get every lump out add salt
- Cover stir occasionally till grit poping then cover boil till pulls away from sides remove from heat
- Take out of pot, Let cool
- Serve like a cake put tomato gravy on it or thickened sweet milk on it, sprinkle with a little chocolate drink mix or serve as is
