Scalloped Tomatoes With a Kick
- 1 quart canned tomato (home canned is good)
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper, diced
- 1 12 cups dried bread, cubes
- 6 slices bacon
- Mix all ingredients (except bacon) together and pour into a 1&1/2 quart baking dish.
- Lay bacon strips over top.
- Bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes.
