Cabbage and Rice Soup
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 (1 lb) package cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup onion, sliced thin
- 4 cups nonfat beef broth
- 4 cups fat free chicken broth
- 14 teaspoon garlic
- 12 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 12 cup brown rice
- Heat Oil in heavy saucepan.
- Add cabbage and onions, cook until soft and translucent.
- Add broth, seasonings and rice.
- Cover and cook 20 minutes.
- Serve hot.
