Soft Molasses Ginger Cookies Recipe
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light molasses
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 5-6 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Bring shortening, sugar, molasses, and vinegar to a boil.
- Cold.
- Add in Large eggs and dry ingredients.
- Chill.
- Roll out to 1/4 inch, cut and place on greased cookie sheet.
- bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 min.
- Don't over bake.
