Pot Roast

  1. Sprinkle roast with onion powder, garlic powder, pepper and Cajun seasoning. Sprinkle with flour to lightly coat. Place in a large Dutch oven. Bake, covered, in a preheated 450u0b0 to 500u0b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes. While baking, combine the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Stir to mix well. At the end of 40 minutes, reduce oven temperature to 250u0b0. Remove roast from oven and pour liquid mixture over roast. Cover and return to oven to bake approximately 6 hours or longer, depending on size of roast.
