Beef Teriyaki Stir Fry Recipe

  1. Partially freeze steaks; slice diagonally across grain into 3 x 1/4 inch strips.
  2. Combine the next 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Add in meat; cover and marinate in the refrigerator 4-6 hrs, stirring occasionally.
  4. Pour 1 Tbsp.
  5. oil around the top of the preheated wok, coating sides; heat at medium high (325 degrees) for 2 min.
  6. Add in vegetables and stir-fry 4 min; remove from wok.
  7. Pour 1 Tbsp.
  8. oil around top of the wok.
  9. Remove steak from the marinade, reserving marinade; add in steak to the wok.
  10. Stir-fry till browned.
  11. Combine cornstarch and reserved marinade, stirring well; stir mix into beef.
  12. Cook, stirring constantly, till thickened.
  13. Combine vegetables and rice; place on serving dish.
  14. Spoon meat mix over rice.
  15. Yield: 6 servings.
