Brittle Cracker Cookies Recipe
- 40 x saltine crackers
- 1 pkt choclate chips (6 ounce)
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1 c. brown sugar
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Place a layer of foil in an 11 x 16 x 1 inch pan and arrange in a single layer the crackers.
- Combine butter and brown sugar in saucepan and bring to boil.
- Boil for 3 min.
- Pour over crackers.
- Bake 5 minutes or possibly till crackers float.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
- When chips have melted, spread and sprinkle with nuts.
- Cut into bars.
- These taste amazingly like toffee candy bars.
