Nessa's Philly Cheese Steak

  1. Place Ribeye in a large bowl.
  2. Coat with vegetable oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together seasoning - season salt, black pepper and garlic powder.
  4. Rub all over beef.
  5. Let the Ribeye marinate while chopping/slicing your onions and green bell peppers.
  6. Put into small bowl and coat with oil and seasoning.
  7. Heat Saute pan or Skillet on High.
  8. Sear meat on all sides.
  9. Cook for a minute per side.
  10. Once done, let the meat rest until cool to touch.
  11. Cut thin slices.
  12. It should be med/rare.
  13. Reduce heat to Med and throw in the onions and green bell peppers.
  14. Saute until onions are translucent and green bell peppers are soft.
  15. Preheat oven on Broiler setting.
  16. Divide the meat between the rolls, layer with onion and green pepper, then top with sliced velveta cheese or Pour on Cheez Whiz.
  17. Place on cookie sheet, and broil until cheese is melted.
  18. Bon Appetit :)
  19. Optional Topping: Add Chicago Hot Giardiniera or Mayo
