Spicy Pork Strips
- 1 lb. boneless pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
- 1/3 cup Kikkoman soy sauce
- 1/4 cup minced green onions (scallions) and tops
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
- 3 tbsp. water
- 1-1/2 tsp. minced fresh ginger root
- 1 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Slice pork into 1/4 inch thick strips.
- Place pork in a large Ziploc storage bag and return to refrigerator while preparing marinade.
- Whisk all ingredients (except pork) together in a medium-large bowl.
- Pour mixture over pork that is in the bag.
- Seal bag and knead pork around in the marinade.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Transfer pork out of marinade and into a shallow baking pan.
- Set oven rack to middle of oven and broil pork on high for 3 minutes.
- Remove from oven, turn pork over, and continue broiling for an additional 2 or 3 minutes, or until pork is cooked through.
