Triple-Chip Cinnamon Brownies
- 1 egg, beaten
- 23 cup packed light brown sugar
- 14 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 14 cup coffee-flavored liquor
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 34 cup all-purpose flour, sifted, spooned, and leveled
- 14 cup dark baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon kosher salt
- 14 cup milk chocolate chips
- 14 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 14 cup vanilla chips or 14 cup white chocolate chips
- 14 cup chopped pecans, lightly toasted
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 14 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 12 cup confectioner's sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 -3 teaspoons milk
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Sift the next 5 (dry ingredients) into this bowl, and stir to combine (do not over-mix, or brownies wil be tough!
- ).
- Gently fold in chips and nuts.
- Bake in a greased 9-inch square baking pan for 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- For frosting, beat cream cheese, butter, and confectioner's sugar in a small bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add cinnamon, vanilla, and enough milk to achieve desired consistency.
- Spread over cooled brownies.
- Store in refrigerator.
