Easy Sausage Quiche Recipe
- 1 deep dish pie shell
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 3 Large eggs
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese (divide in half)
- Bake pie shell at 400 degrees for 3 min.
- Remove from oven and prick with a fork.
- Bake 5 min longer.
- Let cold on a rack.
- Cook sausage till brown; then drain it.
- Combine Large eggs, lowfat milk and seasonings in a mixing bowl; beat lightly.
- Stir in sausage.
- Sprinkle 3/4 c. of cheese over pastry shell.
- Top with sausage mix.
- Sprinkle with remaining 3/4 c. cheese.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 50 min or possibly till set.
