Pearl's Tomato Gravy

  1. Brown flour in dry cast iron skillet over medium heat stirring constantly until medium brown (approx.
  2. five minutes).
  3. Add salt and pepper to season.
  4. When flour is nicely browned, stir in water to desired consistency of gravy.
  5. Cook and stir until smooth.
  6. Add tomatoes, onion, bell pepper and garlic.
  7. Simmer a few minutes.
  8. Serve over biscuits.
