Milk Dud Dessert
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. rusk crumbs
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 6 egg whites
- 4 small pkg. Milk Duds
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream
- Beat egg yolks; add sugar and beat again.
- Mix together rusk crumbs, nuts, vanilla and baking powder.
- Add to egg mixture.
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Bake in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Cool.
- Melt Milk Duds, milk, confectioners sugar and butter until smooth, stirring constantly.
- Let stand until cool and creamy.
- Whip the cream; spread over baked portion. Pour sauce on top and refrigerate overnight.
