Cheddar Bran Muffins

  1. Soften bran in buttermilk.
  2. Cream oil and sugar; beat in egg.
  3. Sift together next 4 ingredients.
  4. Add to creamed mixture alternately with bran mixture.
  5. Stir in cheese.
  6. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes.
