Empandas venezuelan style (chesse)
- 2 cup corn flour (harina pan)
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 plastic bag
- 2 tsp sugar and salt each
- 4 cup vegetable oil or similar
- 1 box gouda / cheddar / or any kind of chesse
- Put the flour and the water in the same plate and mix like if you were making pizza
- Add the salt and sugar and taste if you like add more or less
- Cut the plastic bag on half and use it to put the masa flour in little balls then with the bag flatten the masa until it is flat from about 15cm Long.
- Try to do it the slimest as posible.
- about 5mm or less
- Keep the masa on the plastic bag and put some cheese cut into pieces
- Wrap with the bag and seals the edges
- Put lot of oil in the pan at high power and put the empanadas about 10 minutes until they get the color of you wish
- BE AWARE THEY KEEP HOT INSIDE FOR A LOT OF TIME
