Creamy Meat-Wrapped Soft-Boiled Eggs

  1. Put the eggs in a pan of cold water and bring to the boil.
  2. When boiled, leave to cook for a further 5 minutes.
  3. Peel the shell away from the eggs gently whilst rinsing with cold water.
  4. Season the meat with a little salt and pepper and wrap around the eggs.
  5. Lightly dust with katakuriko.
  6. Add plenty of oil to a frying pan.
  7. Add the eggs and keep turning them around until all the meat is cooked.
  8. Take the eggs out of the pan and pat away the excess oil with a paper towel.
  9. Coat with the sauce and they're ready.
  10. I made these together with some okra rolls.
