Spinach & Parmesan Bruschetta

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat.
  3. Add onions; cook 5 to 7 min.
  4. or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add spinach; cook and stir 2 to 3 min.
  6. or just until wilted.
  7. Stir flour into spinach mixture; cook 1 min., stirring constantly.
  8. Add milk, Sriracha sauce and nutmeg; mix well.
  9. Bring mixture to boil; cook 3 to 4 min.
  10. or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  11. Remove from heat.
  12. Stir in cheese.
  13. Place bread in single layer on parchment-covered baking sheet.
  14. Top with spinach mixture, adding about 2 Tbsp.
  15. to each.
  16. Bake 10 min.
  17. or until bread is toasted.
