No Crust Pizza
- liquid from 3 oz. can mushrooms, plus water to make 1/3 c. liquid
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 tsp. dry oregano
- 2 slices Mozzarella cheese
- 5 1/2 oz. can pizza sauce
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green peppers
- Combine 1/3 cup liquid, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Let stand 5 minutes.
- Add ground beef, oregano and half the mushrooms.
- Mix lightly.
- Form mixture into a 9-inch round pan. Slice cheese into 8 triangles.
- Place 4 on pie.
- Top with sauce, onion, green pepper, remaining mushrooms and dash of oregano. Bake at 350u0b0 for 55 minutes.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake additional 5 minutes.
- Let sit 10 minutes before cutting.
