Peppermint Rice Recipe
- 2 c. uncooked rice
- 4 c. water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. firmly packed crushed peppermint
- In a large heavy saucepan combine rice, water, salt, butter and peppermint.
- Bring to a quick boil over high heat.
- Cover and simmer off liquid, about 12 to 15 min.
- Serve while still hot.
