Hearty Honey Meat Loaf Recipe
- 2 lbs lean grnd beef
- 1 c. plain bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. coarsely grnd pepper
- 1/4 tsp. seasoning salt
- 1 tsp. peppered seasoning
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 4 Tbsp. honey
- 1/2 c. red, yellow and green bell pepper, finely minced
- 1 c. Ragu roasted garlic/onion
- glaze topping
- 1 4 ounce can Catalina Italian tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- to be mixed together for glaze topping
- Place grnd beef in a large bowl.
- Mix all seasoning in a bowl, add in Large eggs and lowfat milk and honey together, mix well.
- Slowly add in to grnd beef.
- Sprinkle bell peppers proportionately and mix well.
- Slowly add in bread crumbs, mix well and form into a loaf using a stone loaf pan (9 x 5).
- You may add in more bread crumbs if needed.
- Cover with foil and cook for 90 min at 350
