Kathy's Apple Pie
- 5 large tart cooking apples, pared,cored and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon allspice
- 12 teaspoon nutmeg
- 12 teaspoon clove
- 12 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 12 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 12 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 9 inch pie shell
- Cook apples slightly and sprinkle with sugar.
- Heat oven to 400.
- Mix apples, 1/2 c.
- sugar, 2 tbs.
- flour and spices.
- Spoon into shell, sprinkle lemon juice over apples.
- Mix 1/2 c.
- sugar with 1/2 c.
- flour; cut in butter until crumbly.
- Add nuts.
- Sprinkle over apples.
- Bake in 9" unbaked pie shell for 55 min.
