Cinnamon Sugar Coated Pecans
- 1 whole Egg White
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 1 cup White Granulated Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 pound Pecan Halves
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk egg white until frothy.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except for pecans.
- Once coating is blended, add pecans and toss/stir to coat them.
- Pour onto a large baking sheet lined with Silpat or a greased baking sheet to prevent sticking.
- (Sometimes, if Ive got one handy, I use a disposable roasting pan, which works wonders too.)
- Pour the coated pecans out onto the prepared baking sheet and smooth into a single layer.
- (You may want to divide the batch and use two sheets, depending on the size of the baking sheet youre using.)
- Slide the sheet(s) into the preheated oven for one hour, stirring the coated nuts every 15 minutes, until the coating is no longer wet.
- Let cool and enjoy!
