Brie and Strawberry Panini
- 8 ounces, weight Brie Cheese
- 8 slices Italian Or Sourdough Bread
- 4 teaspoons Honey
- 4 teaspoons Chopped Pecans
- 1 cup Fresh Strawberries, Hulled And Sliced
- 4 teaspoons Butter
- Slice the brie into equal sized pieces and divide them so that you have enough for 4 sandwiches.
- I used approximately 4-5 pieces per sandwich.
- Place the brie on four slices of bread.
- Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey over the brie.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of the chopped pecans on the honey and brie.
- Place 1/4 cup of sliced strawberries on top of this mixture.
- Top with another slice of bread.
- Butter each side of your sandwich with butter (approximately 1/4 teaspoon per side) and place on your panini press.
- Cook according to manufacturers instructions or until the bread is golden brown and the brie is completely melted.
- Makes 4 sandwiches.
