Hot Fudge Sauce

• 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
• 1/2 cup light corn syrup
• 1/4 teaspoon distilled white vinegar

1. Bring all ingredients to a boil with a pinch of salt in a 2-quart heavy saucepan over moderately high heat, whisking until smooth.
