Spicy Lime Ground Turkey Chili
- 2 Tablespoons Sweet Cream Butter
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- 1 whole Large Onion, Diced
- 1 whole Jalapeno Pepper, Stem Removed, Diced Finely With Seeds
- 1 whole Lime, Zest And Juice
- 1/4 teaspoons Cumin
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 2 cups Vegetable Stock Low Sodium
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes
- In a large skillet, add butter, ground turkey, diced onions, and diced jalapeno.
- Cook 7-8 minutes, stirring to break up turkey meat and brown up.
- Add lime zest and juice.
- Add cumin, black pepper, chili powder, and stir to incorporate ingredients.
- Place into slow cooker on medium heat.
- Add vegetable stock and diced tomatoes, stir, and cover slow cooker.
- Cook for 2 hours on medium heat.
- I just love this with crusty sliced bread on the side.
