Twenty First Century Shrimp Cocktail
- 1 lb extra large shrimp (cleaned)
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- extra virgin olive oil (drizzle)
- nance's sharp & creamy mustard (optional)
- Place Old Bay, Garlic, Onion Powder & Cayenne in a baggie.
- Put shrimp in baggie & toss.
- Put olive oil in saute pan on medium heat.
- Place shrimp in pan & cook until pink.
- (both sides).
- Right before they are done, sprinkle brown sugar on shrimp and toss.
- I like to eat them hot -- Ummmmm.
- You don't need anything to dip into, but Nance's Sharp & Creamy Mustard is a great combo with the sweet & spicy flavor of the shrimp.
