Green Tea Sake
- 1 cup water
- 2 green tea bags
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 pint sake, chilled
- Bring the water to a boil in a pot, add the tea bags, shut off the heat, and let steep for 2 minutes.
- Squeeze out the tea bags and discard them.
- Add the sugar to the brewed tea and swirl it around so it dissolves.
- Chill the green tea syrup until cold.
- Mix the sake with the simple syrup and pour it into sake cups.
