Lemon Herb Chicken With Yellow Rice
- 1 young roasting chickens (Butterball is preferred)
- 1 (32 ounce) bagof spanish yellow rice
- 1 (32 ounce) can green beans
- 1 tablespoon mccormick lemon & herb seasoning
- Put chicken in a pot of water.
- Add 1 Tbsp McCormick Lemon Herb seasoning.
- Turn on high setting, boil for 1 1/2 hours.
- When finished, take chicken out of water and let cool until room-temperature.
- Re-heat broth from chicken until boiling.
- Add all of yellow rice (3 cups).
- Let boil for 5 minutes.
- Put on lid, and let steam-cook for 30 minutes.
- Pick all of the meat off of the chicken.
- Add to the rice.
- Stir well.
- Drain juice from canned green beans.
- Add to rice.
- Stir well.
- Enjoy!
