Cream Cheese Puffs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. almond extract
- 1/4 c. margarine, softened
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (10 count) refrigerated biscuits
- 3 oz. cream cheese, cut into 10 cubes
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon and almond extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine margarine and vanilla.
- Separate dough into 10 biscuits.
- Roll or press each into a 3-inch circle.
- Dip each cream cheese cube into margarine, then in sugar mixture.
- Place each cube into center of each circle biscuit.
- Fold dough over cube (cover completely).
- Shape into balls.
- Dip each ball into margarine, then roll in sugar mixture. Place seam side down in ungreased muffin cup.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 12 to 18 minutes or until brown.
- Store in refrigerator.
