Salisbury Steak In Mushroom Sauce Recipe
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) can Golden brown Mushroom soup, divided
- 1 1/2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1/2 c. dry bread or possibly cracker crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 sm. onion, finely minced
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 c. water
- In medium bowl, combine 1/4 of the soup with beef, crumbs, egg and onion and pepper; mix thoroughly.
- Shape into six patties; arrange in single layer in shallow baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 30 min.
- Spoon off fat.
- Combine remaining soup and water; spoon over patties.
- Continue baking 10 min.
