Smoked Beef Casserole

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease square pan 9 x 9 x 2-inches. Mix 2 cups
  3. bisquick,
  4. sour
  5. cream
  6. and water until soft dough forms. Beat
  7. 20
  8. strokes.
  9. Spread
  10. in pan.
  11. Bake until golden brown, about
  12. 25 minutes.
  13. Heat margarine in pan until melted. Stir in 1/4
  14. cup
  15. Bisquick,
  16. the onion and seasoning.
  17. Heat to boiling, stirring
  18. constantly;
  19. remove
  20. from heat.
  21. Gradually stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  22. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in 1 cup of cheese until melted.
  23. Stir in beef,
  24. peas and corn;
  25. heat through.
  26. Spread over baked layer; sprinkle
  27. with remaining cheese.
  28. Bake until cheese is melted, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
  29. Yields 9 servings.
