Corn Fritters

  1. Combine all ingredients except Crisco oil for frying in medium mixing bowl.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Let stand 1 hour.
  4. Heat 2 to 3 inches Crisco oil in deep fryer or large saucepan to 350u0b0.
  5. Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls into hot Crisco oil.
  6. Fry, a few at a time, 5 to 6 minutes, or until deep golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining batter.
  8. Serve immediately or keep warm in 175u0b0 oven.
  9. Makes 14 to 16 fritters.
