Very Vanilla Snickerdoodles
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 14 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons double -strength vanilla extract
- 3 12 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla.
- Slowly mix in flours, salt and baking powder.
- In separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
- Make 1-inch balls with dough and roll balls in cinnamon/sugar mixture.
- Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees; cool on baking sheet 2 minutes prior to removing.
- If freezing, flash freeze on parchment covered baking sheet for 30 minutes.
- Put frozen dough balls in freezer bags and freeze.
