Stuffed Breadfruit (Rellenos de Pana)

  1. Peel off skin from breadfruit and pumpkin.
  2. Boil on high until they are tender .
  3. Cut into a mixture of peppers, onions, mushrooms, Set aside.Put in a medium pan on medium heat until vegetables are tender.
  4. Season ground beef with your choice of seasonings and mix with vegetables in skillet .
  5. Once the breadfruit & pumpkin are on point mash them together until even consistency .
  6. Once the meat and breadfruit / pumpkin are cool.
  7. Take a little bit of flour and put some in a bowl .
  8. Grab some flour and incorporated it on both hands.
  9. Take some of the mashed breadfruit /pumpkin, flat it out in your hand and take a spoonful of the ground beef and cheese place it in the middle of the Flat mixture in your hands .
  10. Make into a ball applying a little bit of the flour.
  11. So it seals and it does not stick to your hands .
  12. Deep fry it in oil until golden brown and enjoy.
  13. It goes well with a little bit of hot sauce or Fancy Sauce (Mayo/ketchup ) or incorporate a couple of drops of Sriracha .
