Mentaiko Toast.
- 1 slice Sliced bread
- 1/2 sac Mentaiko (spicy salted cod or pollack roe) or tarako (salted cod or pollack roe)
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise / Cream cheese
- Scrape out the insides of the mentaiko out with the back of a kitchen knife.
- Mix with the mayonnaise.
- If you use cream cheese, first bring it to room temperature so it is soft.
- Cover the slice of bread completely and generously with the step 1 mixture.
- Place it on top of a piece of aluminum foil (to prevent burning) and toast in a toaster oven until crispy, about 4~5 minutes.
- Please adjust accordingly to keep from burning.
