Savory Sauced Chicken

  1. In saucepan, cook onion in oleo until onion is tender but not brown.
  2. Combine vegetable juice cocktail, parsley, cornstarch, marjoram and basil; stir into onion mixture.
  3. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
  4. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more.
  5. Arrange chicken breasts in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
  6. Pour sauce mixture over chicken.
  7. Bake, covered with foil, in a 350u0b0 oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  8. Remove foil; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake 5 to 10 minutes more.
  10. Makes 4 servings.
