Firehouse Pizzas

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat olive oil.
  3. Once heated, add 1/2 onion finely minced and the minced garlic.
  4. Once onions are soft, add tomato sauce and tomato paste.
  5. Stir until there are no more lumps in the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of oregano over the top of the pan, stir in.
  7. Repeat with basil.
  8. Repeat again with last of oregano.
  9. Add crushed red pepper if using.
  10. Add a palmful of sugar and stir.
  11. Let simmer for about 15 minutes.
  12. Chop veggies and cook sausage.
  13. Set tortilla shells on pizza pan.
  14. Add sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  15. Add veggies.
  16. Sprinkle Romano cheese on top.
  17. This is the most important part take your hands and smush down the pizza.
  18. Put into hot oven.
  19. Cook 12-15 minutes or until tortilla starts to turn brownish and cheese is melted.
  20. Enjoy and thank a firefighter.
