Sausage With Gravy Recipe
- 1 pound fresh grnd pork sausage
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 beef flavored bouillon cubes
- 2 c. boiling water
- Shape the sausage into 4 to 6 patties.
- Put patties into a cool skillet and cook slowly till well browned on both sides and thoroughly cooked.
- Remove cakes to a warm platter; keep hot.
- Drain off all but 4 Tbsp.

- Brown onion in the fat.
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water.
- Stir flour in browned onions and fat and boil 1 minute.
- Remove skillet from heat and stir in bouillon.
- Return to heat and simmer gravy 5 min.
- Return sausage to skillet and heat thoroughly.
