Chocolate Chip Cake
- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow butter cake mix
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 (8 oz.) bar German chocolate
- confectioners sugar
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, milk, oil and eggs and mix well.
- Stir in chocolate morsels.
- Grate 5 squares of chocolate and add to batter.
- Pour batter into greased and floured, fluted tube pan. Bake 1 hour.
- Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes; invert on wire rack and completely cool.
- Sprinkle top with confectioners sugar. Grate 3 squares of chocolate and sprinkle on cake.
- Cake may be frozen.
- Serves 12.
